Red Summertime

The latest creation from Giuseppe Zanotti is a tribute to David Lean film, Summertime. Recreate the sandals she wore Katharine Hepburn in the 1955 film.

Made of red suede with golden edges, heel up a few inches and incorporates a thin strip around the ankle and ruby red color crystals.

The shoe will be exposed in the sample Trame di Moda - Donne e stile alla Mostra del Cinema di Venezia, until January 6, 2013 at the Palazzo Mocenigo. It is organized by the Fondazione Musei Civici Venice and celebrates the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Mostra del Cinema, which is dedicated to those items that have paraded through the red carpet for the past 50 years. The unprecedented exposure is that you can see the creation of Zanotti next to the original.

Importantly, this new version is for sale-brand boutique in Venice since early September, and available online at shoescribe.com and giuseppezanottidesign.com.

La última creación de Giuseppe Zanotti es un homenaje a la película de David Lean, Summertime. Recrea las sandalias que lució Katharine Hepburn en la película de 1955. 

Realizadas en ante rojo con ribetes dorados, el tacón sube unos cuantos centímetros e incorpora una fina tira alrededor del tobillo y cristales color rubí. 

El zapato estará expuesto en la muestra Trame di Moda - Donne e stile alla Mostra del Cinema di Venezia, hasta el 6 de enero del 2013 en el Palazzo Mocenigo. Está organizada por la Fondazione Musei Civici de Venecia y celebra los 80 años de la fundación de la Mostra del Cinema, que está dedicada a esas prendas  que han desfilado por su alfombra roja durante los últimos 50 años. Lo inédito de la exposición es que se puede contemplar la creación de Zanotti junto a la original.
